Hello, I'm Gayle (centre pic), the owner of Willow Boutique.
Ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to own my own shop. Well that was after wanting to be a nurse, then a fashion designer! I did actually go on to get an Honours Degree in Fashion and Textile Design Management at Heriot-Watt University but the next Vivienne Westwood I was not! However, I have never lost my inspiration in fashion, accessories and textiles and with years of retail experience at management level behind me, I have found the path I was always meant to take. I love my job, I love all my suppliers and I love all my customers who support my small business. I also have the best team in the shop and at home.
Abby (on the left) started at Willow in May 2022 and has been a ray of sunshine from the get go.
Apart from wearing the most fabulous jewellery and colourful clothing she has the most amazing customer service and always with a smile.
Her creativity and humour have made her an incredible addition to the team.
You'll usually find Abby in the shop on Tuesdays and a day at the weekend plus any holiday cover.
Nikki (on the right) is a mum of 3 and is quite possibly the hardest working, most organised person I know;-).
We met at the school gates about 6 years ago when we realised our boys were in the same class.
When I took on the business on my own in 2019 she stepped in to help me out one day a week and thankfully has never left.
You'll usually see her every Wednesday and a day at the weekend plus holidays.
